I am a licensed clinical psychologist trained to work with children, adolescents, adults, families, pregnant women and couples. I have worked in a variety of settings including public schools, therapeutic day school, residential and outpatient clinics as well as private practice. I completed my doctorate in clinical psychology at the California School of Professional Psychology in Los Angeles and I completed my undergraduate degree at Tulane University in New Orleans where I focused on psychology and women’s studies.

Most recently, I have worked for several years at Allendale Association which is an organization dedicated to working with youth and their families who have severe behavioral and emotional difficulties. I also have worked with many couples. Prior to that I worked in Los Angeles at a community mental health center focusing on children, adolescents and families/couples. I have a special interest in working with school aged children and adolescents. I also enjoy working with women of all ages who are facing anxiety, depression and life stressors such as preparation for college, career, marital and relationship struggles and the ever challenging balancing act of career and family. In my clinical work I believe that the relationship between therapist and client is the building block for working together to achieve the client’s goals. I enjoy collaborating with clients and tailoring my approach and techniques to their particular needs.

My free time is spent with the love of my life, my son – family, and friends. More than anything, I enjoy a good cup of coffee with a friend or I can be found trying to convince someone to join me in exploring a new exotic restaurant or food.
