Linda Huelke, LCPC


Linda Huelke-Pfleger, M.S., LCPC is a highly experienced licensed clinical professional counselor and she is a Certified Postpartum Specialist through Postpartum Support International. Linda specializes in working with women who are navigating various challenges related to motherhood. Her clients struggle with a wide range of issues related to the journey toward and through motherhood including fertility, perinatal and postnatal anxiety and depression, as well as fetal loss.

Linda received her undergraduate and Master’s degree in Education-Counseling Psychology from Indiana University – Bloomington.  Linda has a long tenure of practice and leadership in the Chicagoland mental health field.  Linda developed and operated the first community based partial hospital programs in the Chicagoland area.

In 2006 Linda joined Linden Oaks Hospital as Manager of the Clinical Therapy staff.  In 2010 she collaborated to design and implement the hospital system wide assessment, screening and referral services for women experiencing perinatal mood and anxiety disorders in the Naperville area.  Linda developed the Nurturing Moms Support Groups sponsored by Northshore-Edward Elmhurst Healthcare. In 2012 Linda became the Behavioral Health Integration Coordinator at Edward Hospital whose job it was to integrate behavioral health services with Edward Hospital inpatient system, focusing primarily on the Obstetrics and NICU units.

Linda left her role at Northshore-Edward Elmhurst Healthcare as the perinatal coordinator to join Tompkins and Associates and exclusively pursue her desire to work with women and their families in a private practice setting. Linda utilizes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy in combination with supportive talk therapy to support mothers as they navigate caring for their child with caring for their own mental health. She provides a compassionate and supportive space for clients to explore their new role in the context of their personal history.
