
Caitlyn Jezowit, Ph.D., NCSP, (she/her), is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist and a Nationally Certified School Psychologist. She specializes in working with children, adolescents, and families. Dr. Jezowit’s extensive training in clinical and educational settings equips her to work with children and youth ages 3 to 18 and their families. Dr. Jezowit provides individual, group, and family therapy and caregiver coaching services. She also conducts comprehensive psychological and psychoeducational assessments for social, emotional, behavioral, developmental, learning, and cognitive disorders.
Dr. Jezowit is deeply committed to helping youth and families navigate emotional, behavioral, and social difficulties. She employs a range of evidence-based treatments tailored to individual client strengths and needs, ensuring the best possible outcomes for youth and their families. Her extensive training in educational settings provides valuable insights into emotional/behavioral and educational challenges and the IEP/504 process, and she is adept at promoting caregiver advocacy.
Dr. Jezowit is trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Behavioral Therapy. She commonly incorporates elements from Motivational Interviewing, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, executive functioning coaching, and social skills training into treatment. She values meeting clients and families where they are in their treatment journey and collaborating with caregivers to generalize skill development outside the therapy office. She has experience working with youth across the age range presenting with anxiety, depression, attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder, learning difficulties, and autism spectrum disorder.
Dr. Jezowit graduated from the School Psychology program at Illinois State University. She completed her pre-doctoral internship at Munroe Meyer Institute in Omaha, Nebraska. She completed her postdoctoral fellowship at Tompkins and Associates and has been a part of the team ever since. During her training, she worked in various school and clinic settings, providing therapeutic, assessment, and consultation services to promote youth academic, behavioral, and social-emotional support. Additionally, Dr. Jezowit trained for several years at a non-profit autism clinic.
