Simone Schroeder, LCPC is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor in Illinois who has been working in mental health since 2012. She has extensive experience working with adolescents and adults experiencing anxiety, depression, ADHD, and other various life stressors. Ms. Schroeder’s therapeutic work focuses on building skills and increasing personal insight, which helps her clients find solutions for individual circumstances and lives. Ms. Schroeder has an undergraduate degree from Franciscan of Steubenville, OH with a major in mental health and human service and she received her Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Louis University.

Ms. Schroeder approaches therapy by matching her evidenced intervention to her client’s needs and treatment concerns. She has extensive training in CBT and DBT, which are the foundation of her therapeutic interventions. Her goal is to support clients through life’s greatest challenges, providing new insight, skills, and emotional tools to help them make choices they’re proud of and live more authentically.

Ms. Schoeder has previously worked in multiple programs at Linden Oaks Hospital before joining Tompkins and Associates as a full-time Clinical Therapist. She enjoys working with adolescents and young adults, while providing a non-judgmental and accepting environment for teens to increase self-awareness and find new strategies to cope with their emotions. In her spare time, Ms. Schroeder enjoys traveling and caring for her large collection of plants.
