Sneha Pimpalkhute, Ph.D. (she/her), is a Postdoctoral Clinical Psychologist specializing in supporting children and adolescents ages 3 to 18 and their families. She is fluent in English, Hindi, and Marathi and works with youth and families from diverse backgrounds. She provides individual and family therapy for a broad range of social-emotional, behavioral, developmental, and learning-related concerns. Her therapeutic approach integrates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, focusing on helping youth develop coping strategies, self-regulation, and social-emotional skills tailored to their unique strengths and needs.
Dr. Pimpalkhute also conducts comprehensive psychoeducational and neuropsychological assessments, including evaluations of cognitive functioning, learning difficulties, attention, emotional-behavioral challenges, and developmental differences. She translates assessment results into practical recommendations to support youth academically, socially, and at home, and partners with families to navigate school systems, including IEPs and 504 planning.
Her clinical interests include anxiety, depression, learning difficulties, and social-emotional challenges, as well as attention, self-regulation, and social communication difficulties (commonly seen in ADHD and autism spectrum disorder). She has extensive experience providing school-based counseling, facilitating workshops for students and parents on topics such as emotional regulation, behavior management, mindfulness, social communication, social media use, and transition periods, and offering family counseling to support communication and problem-solving. She is passionate about helping youth develop coping strategies, strengthen relationships, and feel empowered to succeed both academically and personally.
Dr. Pimpalkhute earned her Ph.D. in School Psychology from Georgia State University and completed her predoctoral internship with the Lewisville Independent School
District, where she gained extensive experience in counseling, assessment, and family consultation across diverse educational settings.
