Tompkins and Associates is proud to provide clinical training for doctoral candidates in Clinical Psychology, School Psychology, and Counseling Psychology. We are proud to partner with Northern IL University as a doctoral training practicum site. Additionally, we train one to two postdoctoral fellows each year from APA accredited universities and predoctoral internship sites.
Our training programs provide hands-on clinical experiences with children, adolescents and families. Trainees are exposed to a wide array of clinical activities including neuropsych assessment, individual therapy, and family therapy. We focus on training future psychologists in evidenced-based interventions including CBT, ACT, and play therapy. Training is overseen by Licensed Clinical Psychologists who provide weekly supervision and ongoing support.
